Hello there! I currently work in billing at a medical office. I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling. I tried working as a tech at an Applied Behavior Analysis clinic but it wasn’t a good fit. I’m hesitant to try case management or social work because I worry I won’t like it but I want to use my degree in Psychology. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

I really don’t want to lowball myself but ranges I’ve seen for a role like this go from 60k-130k. I was thinking somewhere around 70-75k. Is that too low? Help!

I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

Got another offer letter of 18.5LPA from Intelliswift, 15LPA from Mindtree and probably will get 19.5 LPA from Telus international as well .

Has anyone bought/ done the HRCI Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management? I already have my PHR, but I’m looking to gain more knowledge/skills and beef up my resume. Is it worth doing? The course is $239 and you get 12 Recert credits with it.

Are recruiters worth more than L&D specialists? We have a new recuiter that transferred in from another dept. & is already making more than me and has a higher comp range. We have same tenure & they have NO prev. recuiting experience. I should also add I have been helping cover recuiting in interim. I also help cover HR tasks, have my SHRM, 5 years of HR exp., and 2 degrees. Is the "value" for recruiters more than L&D? I feel a little taken advantage of, but want to know if I'm off base here.

Deciding between:
1. CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice (will allow me to gain a high level view of the HR function that my new role fits into)
2. Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice

Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. Starting a new role in August and I’ll be honest, I don’t think they realize I’m Deaf and that I will require accommodation. Since there are more than 15 employees, without putting undue hardship, in what order should I present my case for accommodations? I was working for a company before that had interpreters on staff so I didn’t think too much in it at first. Would requesting to work remotely be an acceptable ADA request since meetings can be done with captions or free interpretation calls?
