Honestly, AI and offshore are taking over back office finance jobs. I recommend looking at customer facing positions.

I would never want to go in a customer facing position ever lol. Worked enough with people / public and I’m so fed up with rude people 24/7

Thank you!
Finance is a pretty broad field, so you might spend some time brainstorming about what kind of work you'd like to see yourself doing. And what kind of work might mesh with your experience and education. Perhaps you could get a job at a bank, as being in the business might give you an opportunity to learn about various roles.

Yeah I’m thinking of joining some networking groups and trying to pick some peoples brains :) But yes a bank sounds a really great opportunity
I think it'll ultimately depend on what kind of work you want to do. Do you prefer working with people or numbers? Are you analytical or more sentimental? It might require going back to school, I'll just warn you in advance.

I prefer working with numbers than people for sure!
So I actually am qualified in accounts from uni already, but just went down a different route !
