Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

The fact that you lead by pointing out you are an outspoken Asian woman indicates you think one or more of those facts are cause for this guy's problem. If that is the case, I'm sure there's a "president" above you that needs to be aware of a potential lawsuit or lawsuits for a hostile workplace. If this guy is just a blowhard, insecure in his own competency, you can give him a gentle warning that if he doesn't stop his bully tactics and negativity, especially around your employees, you will file a complaint with higher ups.
We are the same level. Should be peers. He also contributes nothing but argues a lot. He’s making me extremely uncomfortable.
Ask him what the micro aggression was. These terms shouldn’t be tossed around lightly and if he felt comfortable telling you that you committed one, he should tell you what it is.
Also, next time he interrupts, let him rant and then calmly go back to the point you were making. Letting someone speak is not the same as listening to him but this way he can’t get mad that you didn’t permit him to say his piece.
When he accuses you of microaggressions, calmly ask for clarification and explain your perspective. Talk to other colleagues especially those who might have witnessed the bullying behavior. You might find yourself surrounded by a supportive team who can help you navigate this situation. I feel like with that attitude you're not the only one they're rubbing the wrong way.
