What is a good bonus number/percentage?
Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Currently I'm in a depressed and indecisive state with very low confidence. My salary is very much below par with respect to my experience.
YoE : 4
CTC : 5.25 lpa
I'm not prepared to make a switch . Is it ethical to ask my manager to revise the CTC . If yes , how much can I ask . Need your valuable inputs 🙏

I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

I’m glad that you enjoy going to work and love your unit. If you’re struggling to make ends meet, do they offer incentives for picking up extra shifts or can you move up like become a charge nurse or manager? I worked as a travel nurse before and the rates are not as high anymore but they’re still higher than staff. The insurance could be crap though. Lastly you can end up with a not so desirable schedule. I’ve quit a job but I don’t think I truly loved it which made it easier. Not for a higher salary either, I just had to move. It’s the right decision in terms of money.
This would depend on whether I’m struggling because I’m underpaid, or because of lifestyle creep that has outrun my salary. I’d be less regretful if I were underpaid. Doesn’t matter how great the place is. That can change quickly.
If you have an offer for a position with a higher salary, move on. It's nice to enjoy your colleagues, but if you're not being paid adequately that's a major problem. You don't owe it to people to work at a discount price.
Subject Expert
You have to do what’s best for you and that’s just it. You have to be selfish and do what’s best for you. It’s not easy out here nowadays.
