I'm helping someone who's super excited to start their flower garden. I point them to the perfect seed-starting mix, you know, the one designed for delicate seedlings. But then they look at the bag and say, "Wait, that has pictures of vegetables on it. I'm only planting flowers. Do you have something... just for flowers?" At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.
