It's probably going to be hard to find something remote that you can do on your phone. Most remote side jobs (like data entry or customer service) will require a computer. You could potentially look at something in social media if you have any experience in that field. Our social manager does almost everything from her phone.
I think Pizza Hut, and I’m not being sarcastic, has a very flexible wfh job where you just take orders. They’ll probably send you their own phone rather than you use your own. The listing might not be from Pizza Hut as the service is outsourced but that would be their client.
You know the company that it's outsourced to? I'm interested in looking this up
That might be tricky just for a practical reason, some organizations have complicated sites to sign up and it would be much easier on a laptop than a smartphone. Perhaps if you could borrow a computer to do the sign-up process you could then use an app. I know Upwork has an phone app, which can help you find gigs. But then if you find something you might need a computer to do the actual work. Maybe getting a cheap Chromebook would be enough to fill the computer void.
I’ve done some very minimal side gigs that only needed a phone. Like those surveys or games. Honestly haven’t found one that was worth the time for what you make though. I spent months on Kashkick and I’m up to 8 bucks so..
Maybe customer service representative jobs

Do you have access to a vehicle or bicycle? Deliver for Door Dash, Uber Eats, and the like, and/or if you have a decent and reliable vehicle, transport people for Lyft, Uber, or a catering company (for instance, I live near the Gulf, where oil companies hire catering companies to deliver food that is to be brought out to the rigs for the crews. They also have drivers pick up crew members to drive them to (and back from) their rendezvous/designated destination, so think outside the box.) If driving long distances isn't something you would want to do, stick to delivering products and food nearby. Even Amazon and Walmart may need help delivering locally. (Think: local and larger. Mom & pop shops, small businesses. Anyone selling online orders from brick and mortar buildings or oversized warehouses). Also possible side gigs: selling products that have a recognizable name and reputation i.e. Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Cutco, can be done in your spare time, mostly if not solely from catalogs, with no overhead, no inventory, and minimal start up fees (some even offer a credit towards your start up, if you are a host for your friends and family. Asking them if they're interested in these well-known, reputable companies' products isn't difficult, after all...and chances are, they'd probably be willing, if not eager, to help you out if they knew that simply placing orders through your event will get you started with your own entrepreneurship. Btw, these are all going to have someone who is able to train you i.e. baby step/walk you through everything you need to know, from entry level and having zero experience, til and through being a rockstar at it, because even when you are able to fly on your own, they will still cheer you on as their team member. Honestly, it's a great experience. You get free/ reduced products and you set your own pace/schedule. You'll gain experience, grow your network, and earn a paycheck....however big or small it becomes can only be determined by your commitment and dedication of your time. Good luck in whatever you do!
