I’m thinking about pursuing additional certifications to strengthen my credentials, but with so many options out there, I’m not sure which one will have the biggest impact. The CFA seems like the gold standard, but it’s a massive time commitment. I’ve also looked into the FRM, CPA, or even more niche ones like the CAIA. I want something that will actually open doors, not just look good on my resume. Have you pursued any certifications in finance? Which ones have been the most valuable for your career, and were they worth the investment of time and money?

CAIA or CMT?

I do institutional sales for an asset manager. Am graduating in the fall with an MBA from a top 40 school. Would like a designation but dont want to do the CFA.  Between the CAIA and CMT: which one is more applicable to asset management, and better status/recognition? appreciate any insight

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. Hello, Am confused with a few optns in my career growth. I have 2 offers in hand 1 from a tier 3 or tier 4 comp nt a start up. They're offering me a good package with so many career benifits like an onsite, opportunity, certification n good technology exposure. Another offer frm a reputed comp a tier 1 comp not an expectd package n benefits.

My Last CTC is 6.5
There budget was upto 10 when i asked but feels like they playing me for my desperation to start working.

And I am expecting an offer from a bigger company and the joining's in the month of Feb.
Dnno about the offer ill get just yet.
