I'm updating my LinkedIn profile since I'll be job searching soon. I keep seeing these AI headshot generators that produce realistic images, but they're clearly artificial. Do you think a job seeker should avoid using an AI-generated headshot or is it okay if it looks enough like me to pass?

I personally wouldn't, some people in media are very anti AI and it'll be your luck your prospective boss is one of them.

I don't think that your comfort using AI is something you want to advertise when you are job hunting. It would be very easy to assume that you might also use AI tools for work where it is not appropriate to do so.

like

Honestly I would say avoid, most companies don’t really use AI in that way so it may make them pass wrong judgements about you

The argument that climate change is not man-made has been disproven by science over and over again, yet many people believe that the global crisis is either not real, not of our making, or both, in part because the news media deliberately chooses not to talk about it because it doesn't sell enough.
