We don't care how you identify, or dress, or if you have surgery or hormone therapy. However, when you demand that we alter our reality to fit yours, and demand that someone can use the opposite sex bathroom because of how they feel, that is not OK. What's worse, is that the left is pushing this on our children. There are several reports that have come out that state that children pretending to be the opposite sex is normal. The few kids or teens that actually have trans feelings, are likely to grow out of it as they grow older. Some of them leading heterosexual lives, other becoming gay, but still identifying as their proper sex. Most Conservatives don't support the trans narrative because pumping kids and teens full of hormones because Mike plays with barbies or Katie plays football, is unscientific, barbaric, and in my opinion despicable. Kids grow out of it, pumping hormones reeks absolute havoc on the body, it increases the possibility of cancer and several other medical conditions, and it decreases life span. Suicide rates and depression among trans people who get surgeries are significantly higher, than literally any other group of people. If you decide that you want to go back to being your "assigned gender" or more scientifically biological sex, it's too late, the damage is done. You cannot change your biology. Caitlyn Jenner is not a woman, and will never be a woman. He may have the appearance of a woman, but he will never give birth, or have mammary glands, or get pregnant, and he still has a penis. Caitlyn Jenner, is and always will be male.
This doesn't even touch what letting trans-males onto female sports teams will do.
The real question is why do you care what Caitlin Jenner is or isn't. She is a grown person able to make her own decisions and if she informs you that she is a woman and to refer to her as "she" its none of your business to dispute that. It has zero impact on you. Literally zero. So just be polite, accept people for who they are if it has no impact on you anyway and refer to people they way they want to be. That is literally all thats asked of you.
Very true. The biggest problem really is that there is quite a few transgender folks in overall population (relatively) and therefore many people don't even know any transgender person. And they only rely on BS they read. My friend has a transgender kid. 10 now. They are seeing therapist for now but not doing much else. Ever since he (they are using OG pronouns still) was a little kid he insisted he is a girl and wanted to so girl things (i.e. no mommy I'm a girl I should've long hair). It was not a fluke or a phase that just went away. The family is learning to accept it but it's not easy on anyone. Noone chooses to be trans. Literally noone. People doing this for attention that simply doesn't exist. Being transgender is so much harder than not being one so it doesn't make sense that anyone would chose to pretend to be one so they can use girl bathrooms? What world do you live in. If there is a small thing you can do yo make someone life easier (like calling them preferred pronouns or preferred name) then just do it. Doesnt cost you anything but can mean so much to the other person.
Bottom line - if more people actually had a transgender person in their life they'd be a lot kinder and cut out the BS judgments.
