I agree with this as long as the huddles stay focused on being supportive/productive. Too many times, I've been stuck in a huddle that gets off track and goes in circles. But yes, those positive huddles can be a game changer for long shifts.

You are absouletly right. When I was with my previous manager, she would play some weird video for some of our huddles and it was just waste of time.
Anything that breaks up the monotony is always appreciated. Our huddles aren't always the most productive, but they're still a nice reprieve from the phones. I'm always happy whenever they're scheduled. It's the only real break I get aside from my 30 minute lunch.

You are right. Any time away from the phone is always appreciated. Our huddles are usually for 15 mins but they would sometimes last long for 25 mins.
