Does anyone feel that the Oil and Gas industry is the most discriminatory industry of all? They won’t even look at resume without O&G experience! It does not make sense to me as I would rather teach someone the specifics of an industry if they were a good fit. I recently got offer letter from kyndryl. my YoE is 11.5 Years and skill set is that of DevOps (Python, Ansible, AWS, rDBMS, shell etc). Kyndryl offered the band 7a with salary 21lpa. Am I underpaid? Should I have asked for more?
