How to answer “What is Your Current Salary/$ Expectation” when my Big4 salary is HIGHER than what NewCompany will pay? Do I mention my salary to prove market value or be discreet so I’m not ruled out?

There isn't much difference in pay , fractal paying a bit more on fixed part

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.

I am taking some time off before starting a new position with employer B in mid January but their insurance wouldn’t be effective until 2/1. I have 60 days to elect COBRA under employer A, which leaves me with 2 days where I wouldn’t have coverage (Jan30/31). What would you do in this situation? (Cont)
