In the SF Bay Area, there are basically ZERO postings on any job site for entry-level AP, AR, Payroll, Office Assistant work, etc. (Even those that say 'entry level require 1-3 years experience). Same for volunteer positions (including on volunteer sites).

I just got my A.S. in Business Accounting. I have no job experience, except grocery.

HOW can I find and apply to any paying or volunteer jobs with no experience and only a 2-year degree? Please help. Thank you!

Look for local cpa firms that need help. Even if it’s seasonal, it’ll be experience

Moving is not the answer. The jobs have been or will be offshored soon.

Are you willing to move?

if you find a posting requiring 1-3 years experience you should apply anyway. The experience or requirements are often a wish list from the employer.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.
It’s discouraging because I’m a fast learner, and from talking to my friends who are Financial Analysts, it doesn’t seem like what we do is so dissimilar.

Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet. Should I be looking into Delaware at all (specifically a Delaware C-Corp) if I do plan on raising capital at some point down the line? Also - for any FDA lawyers out there, what is the problem with developing makeup (specifically foundations) with SPF? I've heard it's "heavily regulated." What do I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance !!

This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
