Do your job, cope, and also be thankful you even have a job. I know it’s mostly the time we are living in, but has been a steep decline in morale for a few years.
Yeah this is true, I just feel like sometimes the company can really elevate a job into something you actually enjoy and makes you happy, just by being more appreciative of their employees
Aside from making a token social media post during Mental Health Awareness month, no. Show up, do your job, don't complain. No one cares how we're feeling.
My company posted for that and one of the things they included was how great WFH was for mental health… but they don’t allow us to wfh- make that make sense??
It often feels like we are expected to self-motivate in a vacuum. Morale only matters when people start quitting.
Even then it’s less about morale and more about making sure the company looks good
