Any utilization review nurses working at an insurance company able to share if your company requires work on weekend/holidays? If so, what work do you do on weekend/holidays snd do you work s full day on those days?

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been given a project to create a database that houses everything for our talent acquisition department including tips, best practices, processes, etc. I’ve been given free reign on creating the entire thing from scratch but I’m running out of ideas! At Le Meridien, kept waking up at night sweating bc of the non-breathable mattress pad. Had to keep rolling onto cooler areas of the bed. (Same issue at Sheraton-Chicago). Anyone else have this issue?
