Is anyone else just at their limit?

I used to love this industry but I have had it. Ive had it with bad behavior being rewarded. Ive had it with watching teams deteriorate as we go leaner and leaner. Ive had it with unrealistic expectations and constant sprints.

The behavior point - glorification of lack of empathy or any boundaries being rewarded - I expect fast and sometimes hard but I reject 60hr weeks and watching junior teams burn out of the industry in under a year.

Moving to New York as a new analyst. What neighborhoods should I look at/how much should I expect to spend in rent?

Has anyone ever been "let go of"? Either laid off or fired. How did you get through it?

Do you guys think wearing a tie is a must during an interview? I'm thinking a suit with no tie.
