Is anyone on here a paralegal or attorney that works at a personal injury law firm? I’m thinking about changing to PI and would like to know a little bit of what it’s like and if you enjoy your work or if burnout is really easy in that field. Thank you in advance

On the Plaintiff’s side, not having to bill hours is pretty great.

Depending on the case, lots of subpoenas, coordinating lots of deposition and lots of medical records.

You won’t be bored just make sure you are compensated well.

I had a lot of fun when I did PI. Fast-paced and varied

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be?
