Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Tax has fewer levels (starts at Consultant instead of Analyst) so there’s definitely a difference in salary especially at the lower levels — it probably shrinks a little the closer you get to PPD though.
A 3rd year Manager for tax base salary is at 101.... That's 7-8 years in. I would imagine large gap in SM salary. My wife started at 55.5 as tax consultant 1
Yes, you both are 1 level away from partnership.
Manager 1 would you know salary for a SM in tax? I’m hoping they make 225k and above similar to Consulting arm
SM in PI/Consulting does not always make 225+. Averages I’m seeing in glass door are around 200 (small set of data). Obviously there’s a huge range. The tax SM salary average was 170 but also had a many more data points
Consulting is about 20-30% higher than the Tax.
There are some areas in tax that get paid closer to consulting though. Some of the tax tech areas can pay pretty well. Think RPA, warehousing, etc.
