Yeah, we have a base salary of $80k but it works as a draw and then we get 30% of the attorney’s fees for cases that settle at $50k or lower, 20% for cases that settle between $50.01k and $99.99k, 15% for cases that settle from $100k to $249.99k and 12% on cases that settle at $250k+. Ends up working our pretty well, even with the draw
@Partner 1 that's probably more than anyone short of the owner of my firm makes, but Texas is also a much better state to practice PI than Ohio.
Yes I get a base plus 3% of what I settle, but I’ve been at firms where its lower base and higher percentage, and then also where commission starts after it hits a certain amount of fees
Base plus 5% of what I settle with up to 10%. I get bumps to my percentage for every $250k within a year (so 10% on anything over 1 million, 7% on anything over 250k)
