Thoughts on purchasing leads?

FYA defense attorney, didn't realize you could buy leads. That explains some of my cases...

like

Be careful. You want to know “how” the leads are being obtained to make sure you get quality leads.

For example, Google now has a “pay per lead” model for attorneys that is less expensive and more effective than their older “pay per click” model. And you get to pick and choose what specialties to be found for.

For example, “interruption marketing” (like an advertisement or cold call) can be effective for certain niches, but terrible for others.

Should I continue to live at my parents house in the Midwest as things start to open back up or move back to my assigned office city on the east coast? Hi! Pretty new to this concept, and really early within my career (only 3 months in). Currently on my company’s 401k plan, contributing well beyond the minimum to receive a match, and maxing the amount I can put in right now (25%). Dabbled a bit in options and stocks in general. Any advice, guides, or starting places you would give someone in my shoes? Thank you in advance!

Hello all!
I'm 26, I studied economics but I don't know why I'm not much into investing/trading. Someone else like this?
I recognize this is not a very good approach for someone with money "knowledge" and I would like to change this mindset. My main weakness is that I easily get bored of following the market and that I do not see big opportunities. Any advice?
Where to start learning, general advice for LT and ST investments, things you learnt, books that changed your pov on the topic etc.

Thx!

I’m 36 and I recently reached a net worth of 1 million dollars. I thought I was doing good but then I see other people with several millions and can’t help but wonder how they got there.
I feel I’m doing everything I’m supposed to (I save, I invest, I max out my 401k, IRA, etc...).

What can I do to upgrade my game and reach those higher numbers?

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

In an auto accident trial, can you inform the jury in any way that the at-fault driver had insurance? The plaintiffs attorney has sent me multiple demands for $3 million dollars and basically begged me to respond with some offer. I received a job offer from a PI firm (MVA and tractor trailer cases) in Houston, Texas; the bonus proposed was 2.5% of attorney’s fees for any cases settled each quarter. We are assigned 50 cases a quarter and the top attorney clears $25K each quarter. This is my first time working at a PI firm. Can anyone share any guidance? Is 2.5% industry standard? Is it realistic to settle/resolve that many cases? I am trying to learn more about this niche before I counter-offer and attempt to negotiate.

Ethics Q: my client created fruaduant medical documents in order to try to recover extra benefits from her injury. My thought is to settle her case with insurance company for whatever nominal amount is offered ASAP. However, this might be lower than her case is actually worth despite the the fruad.
