Is it a good time to switch?

That, my friend, is adult life with a job. You’re lucky you love it some days. (Not kidding)
You really sound sincere in your question, and it bums me out a little that there might be a whole workforce generation that thanks to instagram or whatever, thinks everything should be amazing (and challenging and inspiring and etc etc) every minute or it isnt worth doing.
@OP no not ungrateful, and similarly I didnt mean to come off as Millennial-hating. (I mean I DO do plenty of that, but not this time, ha) It sounds like you have your head on straight about it. You’ll be okay. Just dont quit, everything sucks sometimes. Youre lucky to have a job in a field you chose and pursued. And as much as advertising sucks (ooooooh it USED to be SO much fun though), its still way better than most jobs.
Completely normal
Even if it’s almost weekly?
Normal. Your mood will fluctuate, your tolerance for challenge will fluctuate (but in most cases improve). You’ll have amazing interactions with peers and clients as well as shitty ones. If you find, on balance, you’re mostly miserable, stressed out, or panicked, it might be a sign you’d be happier somewhere else or doing something else. Nothing is difficulty-free 100% of the time.
How long have you been working there
Totally normal
Normal to have good days and bad ones. But it really depends on what you love/hate.
Normal. They pay you because parts of the job suck. Otherwise people would do it for free.
Taking a slightly different and hopefully not too obnoxiously millennial tack... I think it’s 100% normal to be excited about your job some days and “ugh, do I have to?” on others. But if you’re bored out of your mind a lot of the time vs just needing to do things that you don’t enjoy doing, then early in your career is a good time to take stock of whether you’re in the right place / role
^^ Hahahaha. On the nose
It depends. It is normal, but you should be at least content, if not happy, in your situation. That means you should not hate your job on most days.
If you do (and even if not MOST days) you need to figure out what is it that is making you hate it. That kind of self-awareness can be helpful because you can then find out if you hate your role, the shop you’re at, the client, etc. Once you figure it out you can work on addressing it by taking action or planning next steps.
Sounds like your average relationship. 🥁
