It’s ok for you to approach them. IDK how it is in WPP, but in Omnicom, a recruiter isn’t supposed to approach any talent from the same holding agency. The talent has to initiate the contact or apply for them to pursue. I know this, because there was someone I wanted to hire from another Omnicom shop and the recruiter told me she couldn’t approach them unless they applied or inquired first. It’s because of non poaching rules within the network.
