I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

All right people. LET'S FILE SOME TAX RETURNS.
I’d rather quit than revise this agreement.
Anyone in SF here??

Don’t strive for titles and promotions. Just concentrate on making good work. And enjoy it. Trust me, it’s not that rosy higher up the chain. Yeah you get more money, but also more responsibility and grief and endless meetings.
Your gap isn’t that big. If you stay together long enough you’ll eventually be known at the same level
CD1... So I am underpaid and overworked now... And I can look forward to being more overworked?
Clearly we should just jump out a window now
For the most part it’s a good relationship and we work well together. Anything I should watch out for?
I was partnered with an ACD as a junior for about 3 months. I’m sure it was hell for them, but I learned a ton and got some respect in meetings when I had an opinion. Probably will work the same for you
I’m a newly midlevel writer paired with a senior art director who could be a CD if they wanted to. 6 years apart in experience. Neither of us are “busting our ass" for a promotion.
What I’ve noticed so far is our ECD will — very infrequently — have my AD work with a solo CD on certain briefs (they were partners before I arrived). It’s kinda annoying, but my partner and I get enough good work that I’m not too bothered by it. Also, if there’s ever a production where money’s too tight to send both of us, I’d be the one who stays put.
