Hello all, I'm currently umenoyed on h1b with timer ticking. I have made through on-site rounds with Google and waiting for team matching. I have 4 weeks on h1b unemployment days. I have been seeing that team matching at google at times can be upto or moee than 2 months. And still chance for no offer after the wait. Should I take another company's offer and continue with Google application at later stage? Any suggestions on best course of action for me? Google @h1bvisa

That's a question at the heart of the Masterpiece CakeShop case that went to the Supreme Court a couple of years ago, and set off a debate across the country among civil rights groups, religious groups and politicians...and even members of the court. I think it's up to each person to decide for themselves what's ethical, what's moral...but to have any credibility at all, each person's view has to be considered against the backdrop of the society they live in -- if your personal view on morality is something that's at odds with the law, or at odds with at least the vast majority of your peers, you're going to be viewed as unethical/immoral by others...even if you think you're being ethical.
Exactly. Ethics do not equal legality.
