Is it okay that my ACD just sits back and relaxes for every single pitch we make? She's involved in all of our meetings prior (just in terms of ideating and providing feedback on our thoughts for a certain campaign), but during the meeting, she's silent as a cat. I can't tell if she's secretly nervous out of her mind or wants us to steal the show. It's still weird and I can't place why she is the way she is. Is it rude to ask her?

I interviewed for KPMG on 11/15 for a Senior role and the HR emailed me on 11/16 that everyone liked me but they think I should be hired as an Experienced Associate. I had a call with the HR on 11/17 wherein we discussed about my salary expectations and the HR said he will get back in a day. It’s been more than 10 days and multiple follow ups but still no response. I don’t think I was rude while talking to the HR, I just told my current salary and asked for min. that no. Did i miss the chance ?

I started conversations with a small boutique studio about doing Facebook ads for them and they asked what my retainer fee would be to manage them. RANT: People re-writing a cw’s stuff has always been painful. These days it’s far more common than when I started. It’d be one thing if they upgraded the work. If I learned from it. If I genuinely seethed with envy over their wit w/that perfectly placed semi-colon. People can’t re-art direct stuff bc they don’t know the programs so they ask the ADs for changes. Word and a keyboard made everyone think they can write. Which they can’t. Google Slides is Google slip ‘n slide into (bad ref. here.)
