Is it the fact that HR is wearing many hats these days and that they dont have time to personally look at resumes like they use to. Ive applied and interviewed for many positions and I hear crickets ...even follow up on many occasions and do that multiple times still crickets ... Resume writer wrote a great resume still crickets Please help me understand the obvious road block for many people today

I think it’s a combination of things. They’re possibly getting a high volume of resumes and don’t bother to reach out to folks they reject. Even don’t reach out to those they interview and don’t pick. I think HR is indeed wearing many hats, just as many of us are because companies are purposely remaining understaffed to save on labor. However, that doesn’t dissolve the responsibility to engage in every process of recruiting

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

What would you do in this situation?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

Hello all, I am a fresher and have joined TCS in 2021. I have worked with mainframe and a bit of Salesforce. Now I am not enjoying the work here as I feel myself stagnant. And since I am not interested in coding, what are all other options I should look for. Please help me out.
