CIPD vs. SHRM?

Hello, HR Professionals or Recruiters. I’m struggling on which certifications to get. Just pivoted into a Talent Sourcer role, I have experience of talent attraction but I wonder which HR/recruitment qualifications I could do to support my transition.

Deciding between:
1. CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice (will allow me to gain a high level view of the HR function that my new role fits into)
2. Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice

Going to shrm next week and looks like they've needed up their tech expo/enterprise solutions component. Going to leave company names/summaries here. Is anyone else going?

For those of you who are SHRM CP certified. Can you please advise if the SHRM learning system is worth it? Are there other effective learning tools that are less expensive ?

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)

Is CIPD a valuable certification? Is it appreciated in Europe only or US too? I have an opportunity to get it but not sure if knowledge is really up to date and worth time spent.

I recently got SHRM Certified Professional certificate and am doing contracting for Whole Foods remotely in an HR/Unemployment role. But, I really need something that pays better than $27.50 an hour and no benefits. The thing is...I think I don't believe in myself enough because I grew up poor and have struggled to even get this far. Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. I don’t think HR or government is for me anymore and looking to find something new, now 24 feel I have a lot of transferable skills and knowledge but worried about private companies in other professions taking me seriously. Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?
