I am in VBG. Let me tell you. VBG is the most money making in VZ but it’s the one that is suffering with non-evolving talent. If we bring up some idea. It just keeps on going for reviews and in the end some other team will spin off the idea and gets it implemented and gets all the credit since they would have some internal connections.
And there are too many dumb people in VBG. Like honestly everyone above manager position are very far from technology savvy and very close to yes boss boot lickers. and it’s not the problem of management as well. They are made slaves. If someone has a spine and talks something that counters the hierarchy. He or she would be rated low and put on pip and force remove them. I hope VBG is cleaned from the gutter of people they have now. And believe me for some reason your last name and where you come from matters for these guys a lot than the code you do……!!!!
