I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

Got offer from Atos of 26.4 LPA. Is this a good offer? or Shall I search other job at 30+ LPA?

This the problem with the mindset of junior developers now a days. Dude 20 is too much for at 2 years exp. Also don't forget you need to justify that salary as well. As per my understanding a data engineer with 20lpa should be able to develope spark pipelines end to end (not using spark SQL) can you do that ? If yes then you are lying and if no then better learn the skills first before asking for random numbers

In general 20LPA for 2YoE is way too much of a ask but again it depends on the skillset and companies requirement at that moment.
I have seen freshers bagging 20+ LPA and Senior Data Engineers with 5YoE with very good skillset getting less than 20LPA. It's all in the timing and the company where you apply.
It's most likely that Imputes may not release offer letter if you insist on 19-20 LPA with your experience unless you have competing offers. If you have a competing offer then you can always ask for more irrespective of your experience else it's wise to accept the offer letter with 16LPA and try to bag offers from other companies.
