My office is in las Colinas but I live downtown. I don’t dislike las Colinas, but it does really give off an industrial “cookie cutter” vibe like everything was preplanned for commercial use and doesn’t have a lot of culture. Super close to a lot of great spots and a quick shot to downtown so I’m sure you’d be happy there. Can’t speak to grocery store availability etc., but a lot of great Indian restaurants!

That’s the beauty of DFW, you get plenty of nice things and peaceful home at the same time. However you might wanna check out plano west (around shop at legacy area) if you want something a bit more fun and also center ish
Takes minimum 40 minutes to get downtown from Plano West during high work traffic times.
It's a little boring and might not be as central if you stay on the Dallas side. If you want a little more going on and Central to Dallas, look at Addison as an alternative.
Nice area, not boring but expensive cost of living. I don’t know your budget but if it works financially for you, it’s nice.
It’s nice and quiet. I live in Plano and I don’t club, mid-30’s as well, my job is in Grand Prairie, I love my quiet life. I travel when I want to have fun outside of the DFW area. I used to live in the downtown area of Dallas and I hated it after the 3rd year of being there. What are some hobbies you like to do?
