Is ORD to SLC on an ERJ considered an only Plat /1K upgrade flight?

Why oh why do "remote" positions for US employers require FTEs to physically live in the United States??? I want to know the real reason.

NYC to SFO Delta flight was delayed for 4 hours because they lost bags, which resulted in needing a new captain whom they had to wake up and ask to come in...love airlines.

Need advice: I just started this week at my new company and prior to joining I brought tickets with my friends together for a one week vacation to the West Coast. It will be the week of 7/4. Now I just talked to my manager about taking the week off, but found out we are actually really busy that week. There were some compromise, but still not ideal. I have really 3 options: change my group flight, cancel, or work during the vacation. Any other options or advice will be helpful!

I’m on STEM OPT and considering travelling to Schengen area. I saw that F1 visas are exempt from the travel ban. But is that only if you are enrolled in a program starting on Aug 1? It seems nebulous so checking if anyone on F1 OPT has had experience coming back to the US from one of the restricted areas (Brazil, India, China, Schengen, South Africa..)
