Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Pensions are a rare commodity now. The very few people I know with them are grandfathered in. Companies started phasing them out, just like a lot of benefits.
I have never orked anywhere that offered a pension. I have always wanted to but it seems to be a thing of the past. The only people I know who still have one are a lot older than me.
i've never seen a pension at any of my companies and i've been working in corporate since 2002. i watched an interesting documentary on the advent of the 401k...essentially it was a way for companies to cost cut by getting rid of pensions and put the onus on the employee to save for their future with small matches.
