Radio has not been a considerate factor, but that is some really interesting statistics. I feel like a lot of us are getting subscription fatigue, I used to have the apple music, the sirius xm, starting scaling back and actually have listened to the regular ‘ol radio recently.
What's has been happening in radio over the past two decades or so has been really interesting. For some audiences, it's a direct way to reach them. And it's something that really shouldn't be overlooked. But it isn't the mainstream buy that it had once been, and I doubt that's ever coming back. Which is kind of a shame really, I feel like lame and boring political content has just kind of poisoned radio, which once was a vibrant market.

It almost seems like political content will thrive on radio. I remember reading that is how the Republicans reached so many in the Latino voting space in Florida the last two elections. Radio!

I haven’t thought of radio as a part of a marketing plan for YEARS. I can’t remember the last time I listened to the radio. However. I recently had a conversation with a friend of mine who does and I get why it’s still an important tool for some. Depending on the product/market, it could be a strong platform.
