Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

I think AI is just a tool. In the same way that a computer and a mouse are tools. You don't have to use them, but they definitely make the job a lot easier.

These tools are making it worse bc you might have a good resume but talking to you tells a different story
It's hard to say. I don't think the job market is overly complicated because of AI, I think it's overly complicated because employers are trying to weed through too many applicants. So it seems like they are creating extra hoops to jump through. Does anyone else feel like this?

It’s more efficient but using that as the only tool for job apps and candidate resume checks is doing a loss to the business-you miss a lot of nuances about someone’s experience and qualifications when using an AI tool to look for “buzz words”

It’s good and bad. Good people it really can make your resume better. Bad because now the job market is filled with applications because of these auto-apply features.

Honestly, it does feel like the process has gotten way more complicated. Digital tools help, but sometimes I miss the days of simply handing in a CV.

I feel like it’s worse you have a computer with no human emotion deciding what is best. At least a person can filter and use their best judgment and not just look for keywords.
