Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.

Now companied are giving 3-4 % hike, so if you are switching with even 30% hike is a good decision .
All Managers will say the same ask your manager to give promotion or salary hike if they want to retain you.
Better after even switching keep learning and be interview ready
Not a great decision because although TCS is a Big Company in India from all perspectives but TCS has following issues: 1) Slow Processes within the Company 2) Too much of Departmentalization 3) It takes a lot of effort & time to get things done in TCS 4) Remuneration or Salary Progression is also slow. I haver worked with TCS for 5 years and I have worked with Capgemini for 1 year, hence I know it all !!
But now my priority is to get wlb and job security. Salary growth and progress does not matter much now. IN THAT CASE IS IT A GOOD CHOICE
