ISO a ladies or unisex watch under 500 bucks, rectangle face, black leather or jubilee-esque bracelet. Assuming will have to be quartz movement at this price point. Thank you for any suggestions!

I’m a massive fan of the Tissot Heritage Banana, which I think fits the bill, but I’ve never actually seen or handled one, so I don’t know how big it wears. It comes on leather straps but it stands to reason that you could source an aftermarket jubilee bracelet in the right size and it’d look good since the mugs are hidden.

Here’s my first question for this group. What’s a good and inexpensive PDF editing tool? Highlighting, annotating, and bookmarking while working from home is a problem for some of us who still like to use paper. My firm won’t purchase “full Adobe” for anyone other than legal assistants and paralegals.

Maybe it's because I'm in tax, but I've never dealt with these unreasonable Partners people speak of. I've never been told I can't go on vacation, or I've never been yelled at for not being in the office long enough. I've also never been iced out because of one mistake here or there.

During my first year, I struggled, and the partners I worked with went out of their way to take their time with me to help me learn, as did some of the senior-level Associates.

Best everyday bank account and credit card in Australia for an expat couple?

I‘m moving to Australia with my partner and we don’t have a bank account and credit cards yet. We basically need the bank account only for everyday finance stuff (local payments, debit card, etc) and we‘re looking for some credit cards with good international fees and ideally a reward program to collect some points for traveling.

What does it mean if you get feedback such as “know the room better?” I came across a team email that was addressed to my account team, and I approached my boss about my response to it. Then he gave me this feedback and told me not to engage in the conversation. Funny thing is a strategy lead just responded back to the team with the exact response I came up with, and my boss agreed with her...

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

Since moving back in with my parents, I’ve noticed their internet cannot handle three people working from home. Does anyone have experience relying on a mifi full time? I know the biggest downside is the data limit, but would I be able to get a plan that would suffice for my 16 hour-long busy season days? Help me, I’m a newb :)

I finally put my Snowflake on a leather strap. I'm smitten and felt the need to share with folks who would appreciate!

I always intended to wear with a leather strap but it took me far too long to get one. Although I did like the bracelet a lot more than I thought I would. The bracelet seems to be a constant knock on GS but I didn't find anything wrong with it. At least this model.

Shot in the dark since it’s an expensive, niche, and quartz watch… but does anyone have a Breitling Emergency? I wouldn’t say I *need* the emergency beacon aspects of it since a pay for a satellite communicator, but as an outdoorsy guy I’m intrigued. $15K+ seems like a lot for a quartz watch even with the plb functionality but bonuses don’t spend themselves

Sorry if this has been asked before but anyone have recommendations for brands that typically have a thiner profile? I’m shopping around for a piece in the $1k-$2k range (willing to buy pre owned).

Help me decide which piece to get as my first luxury watch after this years promo. My brother has a strong relationship with an AD so my options are looking like green Omega seamaster, GS snowflake, GMT Batman. Obvi Batman is almost 2x the others but I’ll eventually have all 3 at some point in my life

How do I keep my watch from falling down my wrist when I walk? Is it normal for it to be able to slide a little?

An additional link off (already a half one) makes it indent my wrist, so running out of options that way. First time with a metal bracelet
