Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Thoughts on the 2,000 dollar stimulus proposal? I personally think it’s not needed. Theoretically if you are getting full unemployment plus this 2000 a month you are making close to a 70-80k salary. More people died of covid under Biden than under Trump.

I'm a Bernie supporter who got invited here because I debate in a reasonable manner. I was reading some reasonable posts talking about how ridiculous it is to call Republicans racist all the time.
On the left it is frustrating because there is a president who says racists things (from mex are rapists to there are fine people in Charlottesville etc...) and enjoys 80% GOP support.
We clearly agree racism is bad - how can we work together to resolve it? Where does it break down?

here's my prediction.

If Biden wins, the media will begin to message the following;

-The worst COVID risks and outcomes are to people with identifiable risk factors such as obesity and diabetes.

-Most other people who catch it will experience a bad flu.

-Many other people who catch it won't even know they have it.

-It's not commonly transmitted by touching objects and person to person transmittal is low risk except in close contact.

I just want to say that I still support police officers across the country. I know that these are tough times for everyone and while I condemn the officers that use lethal force on unarmed civilians...I understand that not all officers act like that. I would probably get thrown out if this were any other bowl.

Regardless of the details of the incident in Central Park, I’d just like to point out one thing. That lady was probably a very outspoken liberal. Yeah I’ll take that hypocrisy to go, thanks.
