Sometimes there are decent voter guides (Courage CA is often helpful and compiles recommendations of certain nonprofits too, DSA to varying degrees, the Green Party, the California Labor Federation), but I voted early this year and just did most of my research on google.

Vote no on HLA
I voted Yes because the aggregated progressive endorsements said Yes across the board.
Combination of LAist and Courage CA will give you a good foundation to make an informed decision. I like LAist because it provides some good information about different candidates and isn’t just VOTE for this person
