It’s hard not to compare your career to the big announcements people post online, especially when it’s someone you know or used to work with. I’ve caught myself questioning my own progress after seeing promotions or new roles pop up, even when I know my path was moving in the right direction, just not as fast as others. In this job market, that comparison spiral can really mess with mindset. How do you keep it from getting to you when you’re surrounded by everyone else’s highlight reels?

How do I figure out spending with my SO? Initially I was paying for 90% of stuff (no actual bills, just going out). I talked to her and said we need to be more even. She was never proactive. Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?
