It’s so easy to say yes to everything, especially when you’re trying to prove yourself.
But I’ve learned that saying no is sometimes the most professional thing you can do.
How do you handle those moments when you’re asked to do more than your actual job description?

I don't know if I was just raised differently or what, but I've never been a "yes (wo)man." I have always been comfortable saying no haha, I guess it's one of my unique strengths (that surely some people think is a weakness). But yeah I'm not doing anything that's not in my job description or doesn't fit in my 40 hour work week. I don't think anyone else should either!

That’s brilliant! I’m definitely still learning that, I think I’ve just been too much of a people pleaser.

A lot of the time we’ll inform whoever needs to be that what they’re asking for isn’t our job description. We’ll usually do the task the 1 time and they rarely ever ask us to do it again!

Ah! That's a good idea!

Does anyone know if above positions are as competitive as SBA?
