Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I got started late in my career but am slowly finding a path forward. Everyone's pathway is different, but the most important thing is to take the steps that you feel like you should take. They may not always lead where you expect, but they will lead somewhere meaningful.
It's never too late. And you probably have more connections now to help you along the way.
I second this! It is never too late to chase your dreams. I say go for it.
I'd never say never, but it definitely won't be without challenges. I think your best bet would be to make some strong connections in the industry and do some major networking. Like it or not, this field is all about who you know, so get to know some people who can help you get your foot in the door. Good luck!
There's no time like the present! If you're passionate about film, start studying and networking. Attend film festivals and screenings, meet people in the industry, and get involved in filmmaking communities. There's no guarantee it will be easy, but don't let that stop you from pursuing your dreams.
Yes, absolutely! There are many opportunities for newbies in the film industry, and your age is definitely not a barrier. Keep working hard and networking, and you'll eventually find your way in.
I just want to say congratulations for following your dreams, even if you feel like your age is too advanced to do so. Never stop dreaming, friend!
Why not? It's all about the talent. Although I must admit that others would look into the age as a factor, but not all roles are meant for younger ones. Go for it. We're rooting for you...
I don't think it's ever too late personally, the film industry is probably one of the easier ones to break into at different age groups!
Of course. Nothing beats passion. Your age is just a number. Best of luck!
There's always a chance. 40 is NOT too late!! Heck, even 70 is not too late. Be very serious about networking.
Lucky for you, there's no such thing as an age limit around here! "Too late" doesn't exist. As long as you have the sheer force of will, you'll make it far. Good luck on your journy!
Of course! You could be 50 and it would never be too late. Follow where your heart takes you. I wish you the best on your new adventure!
