I’ve been an w/DG 10 mo. An asst manager 6 mo. I was recently demoted to sales associate taking a loss of 3.25/hr and put on 90 probation for getting an EBR in voids, something that is 100% unavoidable and accidentally hitting the wrong tender on a gift card transaction. The man wanted to use his card and I cashed it out. Mind you, there was NO cash involved so technically the store didn’t lose any money. I have perfect attendance; my drawer has never been short and this is a slap in my face.

I’ve worked at places that all have different holiday policies. EA has at minimum a nice 10 day shutdown from Christmas Eve through New Years. It’s great to know that there will be no slack messages or an exploded inbox to come back to while away. I’ve been at other studios that only give you Christmas Eve & Day and New Years Eve & Day and then the rest is up to you to request for PTO and this is obviously the suck.
