I struggle with eating healthy more in winter, signed up for a grocery subscription box to eliminate the "what am I going to eat tonight" dilemma. Hoping it'll help me not order out so much.
Just a heater and a warm blanket will do. Just hugs from my children is warmer than a fireplace during the winter season.
I go on vacation at the end of november to the carribean to give me a little break from the cold
I get more strict with my meal preps to make sure I’m nourishing my body. Started swapping happy hour at work for smoothie/juice run. Any other tips 👀
I just re-upped my gym membership. I live in the midwest and exercise is one of the only way I can maintain my own sanity during the winter.
For me, nothing can beat the sun lamp and weighted blanket combo. Also, include foods high in vitamin d in your diet and maybe some dark chocolate too.
I've always recommended my patients this sun lamp/alarm and so far so good. The results wer amazing.
I know it's probably trite but going outside saves me every winter. I don't love being cold, so I remind myself to get extra bundled and get outdoors (rain or snow) because there are so many outdoor experiences you can only have in winter. My mantra is 'there's no bad weather, just wear better.' Hope this helps!
Sun lamp! There’s some research on how strong the light needs to be and you need to be fairly close to it and use it daily for it to work. Exercise and planning fun things to do in the winter are big for me also!

I definitely schedule more spa days and do more time alone meditating in the winter :)
