I think transparency from companies is key, brands should be upfront when they use AI, so consumers can make informed decisions. Otherwise, trust is going to keep eroding, and people will get even more skeptical of everything they see. It’s a real challenge for brands and marketers right now with AI imagery becoming so common!!
"How can we believe anything we see on the internet anymore" short answer: you can't. AI is everywhere. There are some plugins I've heard of that will flag content that's been generated or altered by AI. I haven't gotten around to installing any of them yet, but my gut feeling is that if I were to, every other ad I see would get flagged, and I expect it's only going to get worse.
