I’ve been thinking about how easy it really is to admit mistakes at work.

When I mess something up, I try to be upfront about it and figure out what went wrong, but honestly, that’s not always comfortable. Sometimes I wonder, does owning a mistake actually help build trust, or does it make you look less capable? Is it easier to admit errors in a supportive team, or does pressure and fear of judgment get in the way?

Hello everyone, I'm a cs grad student graduating in may making a career transition from mechanical eng to cs. I had an internship but its been hard to find a fulltime dev role. I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?
