Hi folks,
I've got an offer from Netcracker recently.
Based on the salary discussion, HR released the offer with 2Lakh less as promised and now telling me over and over again that they will revice it near the joining date and this is the process they follow for every candidate so that they don't go and shop in the market.Do you think I should trust them as they haven't given me anything in written but keeps on promising me over phone calls that closer to my joining date they will revise the offer.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Nothing. She signed an NDA and took the money. She has no more civil claim assuming she signed it away.
Or under misinformation

Consult with an employment lawyer, it’s usually free

Second this. Consult an employment attorney; they are the ones who can tell you what your options are
Does she has a record of reporting the manager? Can she prove she was fired due to the reporting of the manager? Are there other women? What does the NDA say?
Also why is she looking for something now? Not saying she doesn’t deserve anything, but if it’s a few years old it’s hard to go after the company now unless there is some sort of class action.

The NDA doesn't necessarily mean that she has no legal recourse.
Talk to an attorney. They'll know for sure what to do.
As someone who has faced this multiple times in her career - stay strong and know that while life just sucks sometimes, don’t let it dampen your spirit and drive. Go get’em
Is that start up still in existence ? They make you sign to relinquish all the power to get back on any compensation - my wife signed the same last year as they were let go due to some acquisition. The firm she was working is not there any more ..
Ugh I’m so sorry :( just want to provide support
She signed her rights away, no?
