Just a monday gripe (share one in the comments if you want to join in)-- why is phone authentication the only option in corporate for security?? I find it so silly the amount of times I have to pick up my phone to authenticate things throughout the day, and it inevitably distracts me when I see notifications on my screen. Do you think there could be better options out there?

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case.
