It’s just too much stuff. Like the charmin ad isn’t really anything. I’m not gonna click on that or be wow’ed by it. You need to edit 25 percent of the work off of this.

That’s never going to happen. Your site analytics will tell you even the most interested viewer makes it 3 projects deep before looking at your about page and leaving.

Love your site and sense of humor—great writing throughout! 👍👍

Thank you! 🙏

I remember seeing your work on Modern Copywriter! It was great then and it's great now! Glad to see you're still killing it.

Thank you! Nothing like a shameless plug to pump up those site visits.

I saw your book on Modern Copywriter and liked it so much I started using the same Squarespace template for mine. There is no higher compliment

It’s a very attractively laid out book! Great work too. What template is it?

Looked! As I clicked through all your work I wasn’t sure what your role was, creative director? Art director? Then I saw copywriter in your about section. Might be helpful to have that on your homepage and also give credits to the others on the projects in the descriptions.

Just a shoe, maybe bc I’m on mobile?

I recently had an interview with BNY for an Analyst role located in DE. The interview went well and I was informed by the recruiter that the team was interested. They asked if I was willing to relocate immediately, and I told him that my decision would be best made if I see an offer. I have not yet received a follow up after this(coming on two weeks) so I know that I've been ghosted. My question is, was I wrong to ask to see the offer before making a decision?

POV: you're an AD* looking for a copy (me) to build our portfolio together and work in... London?

DM:
1) if your seniority is mid/senior or you won an award (Lions, D&AD, One Show..)
2) 3 fav Cannes Lions 2022 campaigns*
3) 3 creatives you love
We create 3 campaigns before XMas and maybe in 2023 we'll start dream big!
Let's make 3 our magic number

* I ask just because if your work is focused on editorial design, that is a different field. I wish you like strategic thinking. Thank you, bye!

I see this question about how to display side projects often, so putting this out there for anyone who might find it useful:

There’s no such thing as side projects, in my eyes. Every project is an opportunity to display your creativity, and the few you’re most proud of make it to your book. Generally, the consensus these days is that we want our advertising to not look/feel like advertising. So, why should you be concerned to separate what was and wasn’t “advertising?”
