Re the breaking in - the heat molding is key. Make sure you’ve got decent insoles. I’m a fan of wearing them for 1-2h at a time a few times just around the house (obv not if you’re doing a ton of walking but like standing and flexing them while you’re working or watching TV). Sometimes you can get an early read on where your hot spots will be by doing that and get ‘em bumped out before the season even starts. HAVE FUN!
Awesome, thanks for the tips!
If they’re good boots, you don’t even have to break them in. New boots feel great.
When I bought mine, the shop did the heat molding to my feet. Cool ski tech.
JHMR is definitely top of the list for US skiing! I actually got out to Taos early season for a some laps at Sipapu, which reminded me of the hills I used to ski up in New England.
I honestly might need to consider IKON for a season, I haven’t actually given it a shot yet.
