Hey all! My SO and I (gay dudes) are looking to move to CO/UT for 3-4 this winter to be close to the mountains and ski every weekend (+ plan to take a few weeks off). We’ve been looking at Aspen Snowmass mostly. Aspen itself seems to be too expensive but we found some affordable places in Basalt and El Jebel. Any tips from the group? What’s the best mountain to be on if our budget is 3500-4000ish/month, need space to WFH, want to be within 30min from slopes and be able to live our gay life?

Salary deducted even after completing notice period citing hybrid work policy? My past employer has deducted 28 days salary of 2 months, by citing mandatory Work From Office (Hybrid model) during notice period of 3 months. Severe lower back for reason for me resigning & WFH Company unfairly allows some employees to WFH. Even contract employees WFH. I served full notice period & completed all my assigned work. I have records of tickets, work completed too. Should I approach labour court?

I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?

Asking for another suggestion. As i mentioned in my other post I just started a new job 2 months ago. I don’t know what are my rights and how I should approach this. Renter tip: if you landlord/management company won’t fix things fast enough, threaten to file a violation with the DCRA.
